Yes winter has truly set in. Here in Canberra anyway! Taylor played her first soccer match in the rain today! She came home soaked to the skin and had to have a quick shower before we headed to the movies to see "Cars" for Ronin's birthday. Yes, my little guy is 3 years old today! So 3 years ago, I was laying in a hospital room with his tiny body asleep on my chest, having fallen totally in love! And despite his stubborness and brugeoning cheekines (oh no, another one!) and the tendancy to use physical means to get attention or take out frustration, I am still totally in love with him! He is soooo cute, and so funny, so smart and just such a little character! His current love is the movie "Cars" and more particularly the star of the show, "Lightning McQueen". Disney/Pixar Retail Dept have done a stellar job with the forward advertising and merchandising on this one because Ronin has barely been able to contain himself til the movie came out! He has "Cars" books, magazines, undies, singlet, jeans-and-tee-shirt, big Lightning McQueen car (that makes an inordinate amount of noise!), McDonalds little "Cars" characters, jigsaw puzzle and more! Chris was mega-stressed at the flicks as the Birthday Boy could barely keep still and wanted to shoot off and do laps of the large, crowded cinema but was prevented by the Steel Arm of the Law (Daddy in the aisle seat!).Anyway I'd recommend it to anyone with kids, especially boys, it was very cool!

Oh Tracey, I am so pleased you all enjoyed Cars - we did. Although it was 2hrs, it was a great movie.
I'm betting too that Taylor actualy enjoyed playing soccer in the rain - I know I used to enjoy netball in the rain, and Samuel loves playing footy when it rains.
Take care
Hugs

Hey Trace - thanks darl for publishing on the blog about the PBS. They knocked it back in this latest session, but we're going to keep up the fight!
Loved the orange layout, and just adored the photo of Rhys on the train - you need to do a LO for that one.
Love ya heaps kiddo,
Auntie Jannie
