Dateline...Midnight
Audio....the heater clicking on; the Late News on TV; Boo snoring in her kennel
Status...Sandra in her room probably asleep; Ronin in his bed, DEFINITELY asleep!; Taylor on sleepover but judging by text-messaging and tearful calls on her mobile (don't get me started) not an enjoyable one; Chris in Singapore; Me at desk having just scrapped (see above).
Thoughts...will definitely need bedsox tonight; poo, I haven't made up the bed yet after washing the doona cover today; I'm hungry; look at this disgusting mess on my desk; miss my girl tonight, hope she's OK
The Biggest Loser Update...OMG don't get me started on the "Bringing Harry Back At The Expense of Adro" debacle, now I remember why I don't usually watch these sorts of shows.....go Kristie!
What am I reading?....A pile of Harlequin romances (gosh they are getting raunchy, the last one I read was positively pornographic! The "F" word and all!), the current Creating Keepsakes, Scrapbook Creations, For Keeps and Scrapbooking Memories.
What makes me mad at the moment? The fact that I can't allow my daughter to use the internet unsupervised. I left her alone for a little while yesterday and she got a pornographic pop-up (a "scary" screen she said) which opened screen after screen of more porn as she tried to close it down. She cried herself to sleep last night because she kept seeing the yukky pictures when she closed her eyes. And we have a popup blockers and a good firewall. No more internet for her. Makes me sick.
What amazes me? How is it that kids grow up in leaps? For weeks they're going along, slowly morphing into the next phase of their development and then suddenly it's like they're playing catchup and they take a huge jump forward. All of a sudden Ronin has this little boy's voice, this clear pronunciation, and puts together grown-up little sentences that make me laugh at their accuracy and seriousness!
What is inspiring me to scrap at the moment? Well, I am a true 2Peas junkie I must say and I find amazing inspiration there, as well as in the mags I read. Loving The Scrap Heap - the Inspiration Team and all the gallery submissions are awesome! Loving the yummy papers out there at the moment, the new Basic Grey and Chatterbox, Scenic Route, SEI, Wild Asparagus, Cherry Arte and Urban Lily to name a few. Loving chipboard anything esp if it's big, and foam stamps are heaps of fun. And doodling, gotta have my pens out at all times! But most of all my family. I bought a new 512mb card for my camera so I intend to get back into photography mode tomorrow and get some new pics to inspire me.
Here's hoping you all can find some sort of inspiration too! Have a nice weekend!

Glad to see you fixed your column problem.
Rather than stopping Taylor from accessing the Internet, why not make a list of sites which are ok, based on her preferences. You'll still need to vet them every couple of months. Just load them into a Taylor only folder on in favourites.
Hey Tracey.
Just catching up with your life.....
I agree about the internet thing. Em is only 3 and I am already dreading the influence that the outside world is going to have on her little innocent life. Yuck.
I too have become a 2 peas junkie. So inspirational. The other thing I realised is how talented we are in Australia.
Wow.

Boy poor taylor this is dreadful..I am so glad it has only happened to me! It certainly was an awful experience.
Now about those raunchy books..I'd stick to the scrapping genre! LOL I think they are stimulating enough!
Oh Tracey, hugs hon. The one time that Samuel was subjected to porn he didn't flinch nor comment, in fact he just walked away from the puta and didn't say anything. I found it later and got rid of it. I agree with Susan's suggestion totally.
Hope T enjoyed her sleep over in the end.
Take care

Oh poor Tay, I feel sick thinking about it!!She obviously has taken it not very well either which just makes it so much worse poor thing!
*snap* on what inspires you, I could've written the exact same thing! LOL
We've got simular taste when it comes to paper girl. Hope your coming up this way in July, will be great to catch up again!
Ruthy
Well your life sounds quite interesting at the moment! I hope Taylor's sleepover was not too dismal for her!
I can soooo relate to the growing up thing, Robert at 11 has had something of a growth spurt over the last few months, he's gone from being smaller than me to being probably a good 10cm taller... *sigh* they do grow up so fast!
Linda.
