I love holidays!

School holidays are a great chance to catch up with things and spend time with family.  Taylor is in Sydney visiting her cousins and enjoying the Royal Easter Show, we are at home cleaning up the yard getting ready for our renovation, and spending a little lazy time together.  We did go to the movies to see "Thor" the other day, which was fun, but we also introduced Ronin to some cool blockbuster movies, such as "The Lord of the Rings" trilogy (extended version).  Aaaaah, nothing beats Aragorn, now THERE was a man!

MOJO HAS RETURNED!

I scrapped again!  I have been writing a lot lately, whenever I have some quiet time, so my craft has been neglected.  I finally sat down at my desk and created a Layout for the SCRAP THE GIRLS April Challenge.  Here is the inspiration piece and my interpretation!

DRAGONS ON THE LOOSE!

We decided while cleaning the Bearded Dragon enclosure today that we would let them run around inside the Puppy Playpen.  Ronin took the opportunity to make a video of one of his little Lego men being attacked by Dinosaurs!  Doof took no time to realise he could slip sideways through the bars, but Schmirtz took quite a long time before she tried to climb over the fence!

DOOF our big clever boy.

SCHMIRTZ our quiet little girl

Today of course is ANZAC Day, and my way to celebrate is to watch the AFL match between Collingwood and Essendon at the MCG, this year on TV,  but I have been many times.  It is truly one of the most moving experiences to be a part of the pre-match build-up, especially the eerie silence as 95,000 people stand to the Last Post, then as it comes to an end a roar builds, the siren sounds, and the game is on.  A battle between proud Aussies, what a great way to pay tribute to those who died for our freedom.

Lest we Forget.
