A few bits....

Well this last day of January 2011 has seen a stinker of a day in Canberra, as it was yesterday and will be again tomorrow.  At 9.30pm we still have the evaporative cooling on full blast and the ceiling fans on too.  It was too hot and stuffy in my scrap room to play today, with no windows in there.  Tomorrow is the first of February, our hottest month, but I'm hoping the release of a heap of new online challenges will give me the fortitude to stick it out in there and get something done.  That, and the foot massager (my feet are KILLING me!).

So I'll just share a few fun things I found blog surfing:

I AM A LIST MAKER
I get stressed if I don't have lists and calendars to keep me organised!  Therefore I was thrilled to find this new app on my iPhone, and it syncs with an online site on my laptop, a very cool little listmaking tool!

I LIKE SCRAPBOOKING SKETCHES
So this new app for my iPhone gives me heaps of sketches, and sample pages, wherever I am!  Search your app store for "Sketch2Scrap".

I WOULD LIKE TO WEAR MY "ONE LITTLE WORD"
So I think I will be leaving some hints around for my family to get this for my birthday this year with my OLW "Potential" on it.  I think it will look fabulous on a chain a wee bit longer than the Personalised Keepsake necklace I got from Chris for Christmas and wear every day.  See the fabulous LISA LEONARD's site for details!

I WISH I COULD SEW!

So I could make Taylor some of these fabulous 40s and 50s Vintage Playsuits she loves so much!  I saw a perfect one on a site today that cost $570!!!  This one is cute though!  It's actually a vintage swimsuit from DOROTHEA'S CLOSET.
