1. choose simple goals that will make your life richer and happier on a daily basis. choose things you may not otherwise get done, but that are not difficult to accomplish.
2. do not choose result oriented goals, choose activity oriented goals. for example.... instead of "lose 10 pounds", choose something like "eat fresh fruits and vegetables every day". get what i'm saying? positive actions instead of just the end result!
3. choose goals that are personal that you believe will truly make your life richer just by doing them! they can be daily, weekly or one time experiences.
4. choose a reward for each goal as it is accomplished! it can be a small or large reward.
5. blog your goals, each one as you achieve it and a big post when they are all finished before the new year!
Elsie has asked for comments to be left on her Blog if you are going to participate, and I would love to see yours too, so leave a comment here for me!
And here is mine!
1. GET FILING UNDER CONTROL
This is one of those things I hate that ends up getting out of all control. I have started it and have piled up a Great Wall of Filing in the middle of our hobby room. Now I just have to sort it and file it and archive the rest. I really want that done by Christmas!
2. START EXERCISING REGULARLY AGAIN
When my gym membership ran out a year ago I decided I would just walk, swim or do the Wii Fit. Needless to say that was all talk. Since then we have bought a treadmill and there also weights in our media room. There is a big TV to watch while you exercise. There is a beautiful lake to walk around. I even bought a $5 14 day introductory membership to the local ladies' gym. I have no excuse! I am feeling sludgy and unfit and I am going to do this thing!!
3. SPEND MORE QUALITY TIME WITH MY FAMILY
Less time doing housework, crafting and hanging out on Facebook, more time being a Mum and a partner and giving those who I love most my full focus and attention! More family activities, both inside home, looking after the house and yard, and going out together. More attention!
4. TAKE TIME TO DO SOMETHING CREATIVE EVERY DAY
I want to do more photography, more scrapbooking, more blogging, and try more new things. I want to participate in challenges, crops and swaps. Even if all I do one day is lay out some papers, stick down a layout, make a card or take a photo. Even if it's only 5 minutes. I'm going to try to do something every day!!
So that's my 4! I will blog all about how I got on at the end of the year!
I look forward to hearing all about yours as well!
Cheers!
Tracey xx
