I don't know what it is like in your house, at but in ours chocky advent calendars are a big deal! I have learned to snap them up as soon as they appear (about September these days!) in the shops because if I don't sure as Santa's big belly they will be nowhere to be found when I want them! This year was a no-brainer for Taylor, of course it had to be Hannah Montana! For Ronin, way back then, I thought Transformers would be a good choice, he was watching the movie just about every weekend at that stage. But of course, that was before the discovery of Bakugans, then Cartoon Network and finally Ben 10, and the start of a new era in our household. So of course mid November when we came across the Ben 10 calendar we had to get that as well. This has left us with 3 calendars for this year, and the kids are quite happy to share the extra chocky! I think this is an important part of our Christmas tradition so here is my photo for Day 6!
DECEMBER 07 PHOTO CHALLENGE

Following on from Ronin's obsession with Cartoon Network is his desire to sit all day every day and watch it! Coming a very close second to Ben 10 is the old favourite "Tom & Jerry" would you believe! Today I turned the TV off for the morning and he was not happy and nagged me all morning until it was the time I said he could watch again. When Taylor got home in the afternoon I said she could watch her show then he could watch his again. He jumped all over her and carried on the whole time she watched her show and then she turned over his show and didn't get it back on quick enough so I turned it off and told them to go and play. To say he was not happy is an understatement. Tay came to the rescue and soon with some pirate costumes and post it notes she had created a treasure hunt around the house ending up with treasure chests full of booty (candy canes) and toys that they then played with. And he remembered that you CAN have fun without watching telly. And he didn't ask to watch it again the whole day and evening. *sigh* big sisters come in handy sometimes!
THANK YOU!
