Today, the 11th of the 11th, I'm taking a few moments to remember what means most to me. I guess it's a version of the American "Thanksgiving", because there are many things I am truly grateful for.
My family. Not just my gorgeous life partner and our wonderful children, but our parents, our siblings, our inlaws, nieces and nephews, our cousins and their children, our aunts and uncles.
Our friends, the friends of our children and their parents who have in become our friends in their own right, our neighbours who are all so lovely, friends of our family and those we have had since childhood.
Our home, where so many special moments have happened; birthdays, Christmases, visits from family and friends, the place where we first brought our son home to.
Our health. Our financial security. Things we take for granted but should never do so, as they can be gone in an instant, and I am so grateful for them.
And I am thankful for discovering scrapbooking, because it opened my eyes to those of a photographer and artist. I see the world differently. I cherish each moment of my children's and family's lives and document them. It introduced me to so many wonderful people, both IRL and online that I am so happy to call friends.
I've just downloaded a heap of photos from my camera from the last month or so and I'm just going to share a few of them here with you all.
With love,
