Welcome Elizabeth Grace

Born on the fourth of July to Chris's youngest brother Jason and his beautiful wife Rebecca, the newest member of our clan, Elizabeth Grace Hembling! Isn't she just gorgeous? She has those big yummy Hembling eyes too!

We finally got to meet her on Sunday when we drove up to Sydney for the day. Jason, who is an absolutely fabulous cook and should open his own restaurant, served us up a magnificent seafood and salad feast and even provided home-made chicken nuggets for my little fussy guy! Thanks Jase!

But the main star of the day was of course little Elizabeth! So tiny (were mine ever that small???) and ever so cute, she was on her very best behaviour and barely let out a peep. She happily coped with being passed from proud Nanny to doting Uncle to very excited cousins to clucky Auntie! She fed happily in her beautiful room (Jason is also a talented furniture maker and brought his new daughter a gorgeous new gift each day after she was born to tastefully decorate her room!). Her mother is madly in love with her and we ooohed and aaahed over the cute little wardrobe of tiny outfits awaiting a bit of growing from young miss before they fit!

It is a long trip there and another long trip back so too soon we had to head off and Taylor put it best when she said, as we pulled away, that we had forgotten something - Elizabeth! Yes, we all wanted to take her home with us! And we miss her already! Can't wait for more cuddles! Welcome to the family gorgeous girl!


I took a gazillion photos and also got a CD of all the adoring new Daddy's pics so I will be churning out some Layouts soon, you can bet! I made Bec and Jase a Basic Grey Lunchpail album to record the birth details and details for baby's first twelve months. I finished it up at 10pm on Saturday night (isn't that always the way?) and didn't photograph it unfortunately but although it had a few injuries on the trip, I was really happy with how it turned out and I think Bec liked it too!


Now to go find all my pink papers, flowers, ribbon......................................!
