Think I'll nick off for a bit.....

I just love this photo of Tay and I that my dear friend Lizette took when we took the girls to see Hilary Duff last December. It is so cool when your daughter gets old enough to do these girly things together! She loved the concert but wasn't impressed with the idea of a support band or the ear-ringing volume of the rock band! I picked up these scrummy Scenic Route papers from Scrap Junkie, owned by the beautiful Ainslee, just around the corner from our place. The colour is delicious and just made for this photo! Taylor is not impressed with my my funky title. Stupid and spelt wrong I think was her assessment ROFL!

Well, I'm off to Hobart tomorrow for a girls night with my darling sister Dianne, who is there for a couple of hours for work. We're going to kick back, take advantage of the therapeutic baths at our hotel and check out the Salamanca Markets (or that's the plan!). Then in the late afternoon we fly back to Melbourne and I'm spending the night and morning with my Mum and Dad. Dad's having an op in a week or so and it will be good to catch up with him beforehand.

I collected my MRI films today. Shock! Horror! I officially have a brain and have seen it now from every angle, inside and out, dissected, eyes bulging - very CSI! And best of all the accompanying blurb announced "No Abnormalities"! The doctor picked out some sinus problems and I'm on antibiotics for suspected infection, but that's nothin'! Of course, if the symptoms don't disappear with the drugs then it looks like I have Menier's Disease (or Syndrome), which is basically a name to describe any middle ear symptoms not accounted for by anything else. My Mum has it, and a few others I know. If you're interested you can check out the website www.menieresinfo.com

Best part of today was taking Ronin to Gymbaroo for the first time. It's a bit like private school, they rang me with a "place" after someone dropped out. I felt he needed some social interaction and play time and tried a play school last year, but he was sooo not interested in all the namby pamby story time, singalong and so on. He just wanted to climb on the equipment and play with the puzzles. Maybe it's the different approach or just his age, but he LOVED this and did in fact dance and sing, play instruments and lay quietly beneath the billowing parachute (which he would never do at the other place). He couldn't keep the smile off his face the whole time we were there, an hour well spent!

It's that time of the week again - watched "Lost" tonight. I can't believe they bumped of Shannon but I'd rather her than one of the others, so I can live with that! Now, next week should be a good one when we learn what the Tailies have been up to since the crash.

I'm off to bed now, got an early start tomorrow. Will update you on the weekend fun and share some photos on Monday! Aveagoodweegend!

Stunning LO Tracey! I am still sad we had to miss the Hilary Duff concert - hope she comes back to Australia again soon.

Have a great break in Tassie and Melbourne and look forward to catching up when you get back!
