NEW YEAR, NEW LOOK

Well I thought I'd get a new look for the new year, I'm getting used to it so it may change again!  I have had a great start to 2011 with family visiting one after the other!  I've finally had some time to kick back, hang with the kids and do a (tiny) bit of creative stuff.  No New Years Resolutions for me again this year, instead I've enrolled in Ali Edwards' "One Little Word" class at Big Picture.  I have been thinking a lot about what this year will bring for me since a couple of months ago when I realised it was only two and a half years til I turned FIFTY!!  There are so many more things I thought I would achieve by now, but I'm loathe to share them because I feel I have failed so many times in meeting my goals that it might jinx them!  The great thing about One Little Word is I have found one word that really encompasses everything I feel about this year.

My word for the year is:

I want to work hard this year at finding my true potential and working towards it, in many facets of this life I am (probably more than) half way through!  The first 'half' of my life has seen a career, travel, love, children, home and discovering my creative side.  Now I need to take all of that, and more, to the next level.

This is my photo page for my OLW album
(photo taken by Taylor especially for the challenge):

And this is the project from the January prompt,
using Pink Paislee pockets:

They all sit nicely in an olive green fabric American Crafts 8x11 album and I look forward to filling it with projects based on my OLW as I gradually discover what that word means to me this year.

Would you like to join my friends and I in this challenge?  Have a look at the link above and have a think about it!

I will share with you my next year-long challenge tomorrow.

Cheers!

TRACEY xx
